The Great Wall

The Great Wall is amazing. That’s a really obvious thing to say, but it’s true.
We entered at Mutianyu on a truly gorgeous day. All of Beijing’s smog disappeared for the lunar new year holiday and the Wall was mostly empty of other tourists.

The Great Wall was one of those incredible places where I could feel all of the history radiating out of the stones.

We got to visit a section of the wall that hadn’t been renovated for 500 years.

I highly, highly recommend visiting the Great Wall, especially at this entrance point- because we got to take a toboggan down to the bottom!

I took so many pictures, I’ll post the rest here!
