Care Package

First of all- thank you Mom!

It’s unbelievable how much simple things from home mean to me. A bath towel from home, (it’s less weird than it sounds- Koreans apparently don’t use normal sized towels, so I’ve been using two hand towels for the past three weeks. The big used towel is necessary), a pair of shoes, some pictures, cookies, a card. It’s always fun to get mail, but getting a care package from across the world was way more than fun.

how many stamps does it take to send a used bath towel?

how many stamps does it take to send a used bath towel?

It was really meaningful.

miss you

Miss you too!

It’s the little things- the package, the emails, the Facetime appointments. All the attempts to keep me involved. They are what keep me going, keep me sane, and conversely- they remind me why I wanted to come to a place so foreign and far away in the first place.

a little bit of home

a little bit of home

Thank you.

And….

GO GIANTS!!!!

GO GIANTS!!!!
